The pine warbler has been to the suet feeders several times. I've seen the chipping sparrow. Tree sparrows are still here, later than I've had them for the last several years. Today a second male red-bellied woodpecker tried to compete with the "resident" male, and there was much loud squawking and flying back and forth. Chickadees are investigating each knot of the tree for a suitable house. A pair os swans were sleeping at Tinkham Pond this afternoon.
